For the second year in a row, ValueMomentum hosted the Global Azure Bootcamp 2019 at its campus in Hyderabad, India. This year, the bootcamp occurred on Saturday, April 27th and had over 200 participants from 84 companies in attendance. This free, one-day, local event is run by the Azure community and gives user groups and communities the opportunity to learn about the Microsoft Azure platform as well as Cloud Computing.
Cloud computing is a technology of the future and one that ValueMomentum is highly invested in. As a company, we are deeply committed to helping our customers leverage cloud technology and benefit from cloud computing. Hosting the Global Azure Bootcamp allows us to engage the Azure community, learn updates on the technology, and foster talent for cloud computing so that we can expand our expertise to help our employees and better serve our customers.
The Global Azure Bootcamp this year brought together speakers from Microsoft, Hitachi Consulting and ThinkCloud to share their experience and expertise on cloud-focused initiatives. Deepak Rajendran, Regional Director Programs at Microsoft, was the keynote speaker and he talked to the participants about the importance of tech communities and its impact in the IT industry. He was followed by Ramkaran Rudravaram, CEO & Co-Founder of RCV Innovations who shared his knowledge on Cloud Security- Risks, Remediation and Resilience. The third speaker, Mayank Kumar, Architect at Hitachi Consulting, talked about his experience with building real-time apps with Azure Functions and Azure SignalR Service. Aside from speakers, the day was divided into 3 parallel tracks with a total of 15 deep dive sessions on Azure for developers and IT professionals delivered by experts in the field. Topics of the sessions included Azure Cognitive Services, Azure ML Studio, Azure Migrations and ServiceNow, among others. A full agenda and summary of the day can be found on our website.
The Global Azure Bootcamp at ValueMomentum this year was an overall success. Highlights of the event include:
- Largest community gathering among all Azure Bootcamps in Hyderabad with over 200 people in attendance
- We had the world’s youngest Bootcamp participants from Birla Open Minds International School in Hyderabad in attendance. Currently, the students are studying in class X
We received overwhelming positive responses from the participants on the quality of content shared during the sessions.
